A good spot for solo travelers

I was surprised by the cleanliness of the room. The bed felt like a cloud, I got solid sleep after a long drive.

It wasn’t cheap but it was still acceptable.

This spot is super clean with cozy beds, a cute fireplace, and even electric charging stations! Had a great experience when they provided an extra blanket and a razor right away after I asked for them.

I recently stayed at Microtel and had a good time. The property felt really new, and my room was clean and comfortable. I loved the availability of hot beverages 24/7, especially since coffee was good. Close to a gas station with several restaurants made snagging food easy. However, I had issues with noise. I could hear everything from the rooms next to mine, especially a TV and footsteps from above, making for a restless sleep. The breakfast options were limited during my early checkout. The staff was friendly and accommodating, but the noise situation was distracting enough to affect my stay.

Had an amazing time with my friends! We enjoyed hiking and kayaking at Cook Forest State Park, which was just a short drive away. The hotel's breakfast had a great variety, and I loved that there was always coffee available. The whole place was super clean, making our stay even better. I can't wait to come back for another group trip!

We did run into a hiccup with our room bookings. I had booked two rooms but was only given one upon arrival, which was pretty frustrating after a long drive. Thankfully, the manager was apologetic and sorted it out quickly.
